What items are candidates allowed to carry into the examination venue?
Candidates are allowed to carry the printout of their e-Admit Card, a pen, pencil, identity proof, water in a transparent bottle, copies of self-photographs (if applicable), and any other items specified in the Instructions of e-Admit Card. A Black Ball Point Pen is specifically required for OMR answer sheets.
What should a candidate do if there is a discrepancy in their e-Admit Card?
In case of any discrepancy in the e-Admit Card, candidates should communicate it to the Commission immediately by email at soe13.upsc@gov.in for a decision on the matter.
What is the entry closure time for the examination venue?
Entry into the Examination Venue will be closed 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement of each session, i.e., 09:00 AM for the Forenoon Session and 01:30 PM for the Afternoon Session. No candidate will be allowed entry after these times.
What if the photograph on the e-Admit Card is not clear?
If the photograph on the e-Admit Card is not clear, candidates must bring a photo identity card along with two passport-size photographs (one for each session) to be affixed on the undertaking provided at the examination venue.
