Selection & Exam Pattern

Selection Process: Shortlisting based on PET-2025 score, Written Exam
Exam Mode: Written Test
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted (25% deduction for each incorrect answer)

The written examination will consist of one question paper with 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 2 hours (120 minutes). Part-1 contains Subject-related Knowledge on Agricultural Engineering (65 questions / 65 marks), covering farm power, engines, tractors, renewable energy, post-harvest technology, irrigation, drainage, and soil conservation. Part-2 contains Computer and Information Technology concepts (15 questions / 15 marks). Part-3 contains General Information related to the state of Uttar Pradesh (20 questions / 20 marks). There is a negative marking of 25% (1/4th) for each incorrect answer.

2. Go to the Applicant Segment on the Homepage and click on 'Live Advertisement'.

3. Log in using Applicant Authentication through PET Registration Number by entering your PET-2025 registration details and verifying via OTP received on registered mobile/email.

4. Verify pre-filled personal information loaded from PET-2025 database (Name, Parent's Name, Domicile, Category, etc.).

5. Enter the mandatory educational qualifications (High School and Agricultural Engineering Diploma certificate/roll number, year of passing, etc.).

6. Verify the pre-loaded Photo and Signature (loaded automatically from PET-2025) and click 'Continue'.

7. Fill in other required details and agree to the Declaration.

8. Pay the online application processing fee of ₹25 via Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI E-Challan.

9. Submit the application form and download/print the final submitted printout for future reference.
