What are the required educational qualifications for Junior Resident?
Candidates must have an MBBS degree from an NMC (erstwhile MCI) recognized university or institute. Foreign graduates must have cleared the FMG examination. Completion of one year of rotatory internship (or FMG examination on or after 08.07.2024) and a valid DMC Certificate are also required.
What is the age limit for General category candidates?
The maximum age limit for General category candidates is 30 years as on the date of interview (July 7, 2026). Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories.
