Application Fee (Unreserved (General) / अनारक्षिती (सामान्यत: ) और अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग (OBC) / SC / ST / Female / Sports / Ex-Servicemen (Processing Fee for all categories to apply for Mains Shortlisting/Registration stage.) / ₹25 for all candidates. The Written exam consists of a single objective paper of 100 questions (100 marks) with a duration of 2 hours. Part-1 covers Veterinary & Livestock specific subject knowledge (75 questions across 15 sub-topics including Anatomy, Livestock Management, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, Farm Management, and Pharmacology). Part-2 covers Computer and Information Technology concepts (15 questions). Part-3 covers General Knowledge related to the State of Uttar Pradesh (20 questions). Negative marking of 25% (1/4th mark) applies for incorrect answers.
